Prayer Opps
There are plenty of opportunities for prayer: Every challenge in life and every joy in life are opportunities, are potential on-ramps to Encounter God.
"Prayer was never meant to be duty-based, or merely results-oriented. It is the place of encounter with God."
Isn't that what God wanted originally, someone to walk with Him in the garden? (and be about His business, be in partnership with Him?)
Loving God is the first commandment (given in our best interests). So a daily devotional time and a day-long devotional life (RELATIONSHIP) is where it starts - having a living, practical relationship with God, being a friend of God.
If you knew God was going to be at your dining room table tomorrow morning and every day at 5:30 a.m., would you meet Him there? (or 10:30pm for night owls).
It starts with personal prayer. David (Ps. 27:4 one thing I seek...), Mary sat at Jesus' feet, Paul (that I might know Him!), Jesus' own example of drawing away to talk with the Father.

Praying with somebody.
Praying with your spouse, your children, a coworker, a friend at church, your family. Your church's weekly prayer meeting, other corporate inter-church gatherings. "Wherever two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."
My house shall be called a house of prayer....God is restoring the tabernacle of David.
Our cities - and people - are in great need. Does the church have answers? Does God have answers? He is raising up prayer ministries and prayer networks and city-wide houses of prayer. You are invited to be a part.
